Some guidelines to help make your stay more enjoyable

Entertaining

You are welcome to have guests over for lunch or dinner but large groups and loud parties are not permitted.

Pets

Unfortunately we do not accommodate pets

Maximum Occupancy

Cape Coral sleeps 6 guests comfortably and can accommodate a maximum of 6 adults. There is a camp cot available for an infant who is co-sleeping in the parents room.

Check-in and Check-out Times

You may check in any time after 2pm and before 8pm. If you are arriving after 8pm, self check in can be arranged. Please contact us to request an early check in.

Check-out is before 11am unless by arrangement based on availability.

We prefer to offer a personal check in services therefore please be in contact with your hosts regarding your anticipated arrival time.

Safety and Security

The pool net will be in place on your arrival. If you have children it is highly recommended that you replace the pool net after using the pool.

There is an alarm system at the property including perimeter beams which the host will activate at 10pm and deactivate at 6am. If you anticipate needing to enter and exit after these times, please let us know.

It is recommended to lock the doors when you leave the property.

Baboons

Baboons are native to the Fernkloof nature reserve which backs onto the suburb of Voelklip and as such Baboons are regular visitors. They are highly intelligent and opportunistic and will look for any opportunity to come into the hose in search of food. It is important to keep doors locked when you are not around.

Although the large males can be intimidating and an encounter with a baboon is alarming, particularly for children, they are not harmful to people. The best response to an unwanted intruder is to remain calm and shoo them out, make sure you are not blocking their exit and if necessary contact ADT security for assistance.

Please do not feed baboons or leave food out for them.

Please ensure the outside bin is latched with its anti-baboon latch in place.

Towels

Beach towels are provided at the front door for swimming. Please do not use bath towels at the pool or at the beach.
